It’s that time of year. All the public schools are back in session here in the Winchester Virginia area. Most of us homeschoolers have started back up too. Some never even stop; they homeschool year round!

We had a busy year this past 2007-2008 year at The ApplePeel. Lots of parties, park days, bowling days, and field trips! Don’t forget our first ever curriculum swap and show & tell!

New things are on the horizon for The ApplePeel. Our group has grown leaps and bounds over the past few months and we have had to do a lot of reorganizing and expanding to make everyone feel at home. Our message forums has a new look, our website got a fresh clean user friendly makeover and now we have this awesome blog!

Seeing this little homeschool group grow is like watching a little apple tree grow. It starts out small, kind of like Charlie Brown’s Christmas Tree, but with all the careful planning, pruning, and finding the right amount of love and patience, it grows into a big beautiful tree that will provide support with its deep roots, encouragement with its strong branches, and knowledge with the fruit it bears.

So dont sit under the Apple Tree with anyone else but Us!
