This time we went to SanSui Japanese Steakhouse! It was really a fun night! I had never been to a Japanese Steakhouse so that in itself was a treat. Our chef was so funny and what a riot when he was flipping shrimp into everyones mouth! We all looked like a bunch of baby birds with our mouths open wide when that shrimp came flying through the air! Who cares that some didnt quite make it in and fell to the floor?! It was so delicious! I even tried sushi for the first time! Who knew not all of it is raw fish?! (Whew!) It was pretty good too!

After we had such a wonderful time at Sansui’s, the night was still young and the mom’s were NOT ready to call it a night. These crazy gals headed across the parking lot to grab a nightcap…of ICE CREAM! Maggie Moo’s was just the spot to wind down the evening swapping stories with the girls about everything from the latest books we just finished or plan to read to finding out co-sleeping happens to most of us and is still a part of the family bedtime routine even when the kids get older. (Honestly, who would want to leave the safety of mom and dads room, especially when you’re sick or it’s storming outside and you KNOW there are no monsters in their closet!)

Ya gotta admit, Mom’s Night Out is definitely another fabulous way to make some wonderful friendships!
