Our Last Moms Night Out Ever… of 2008! ;)

This one was really nice. We had a room all to ourselves at the Daily Grind on the walking mall in Winchester. IT was C-O-L-D outside but warm and cozy on the inside.

We braved the cold as we moms do when we are determined to grab the few child and hubby-less hours alone with our friends that we are allotted. Being a mom is 24/7 but being a homeschool mom is twice the work!

We ordered our coffees, hot teas and cocoas and some of us grabbed a bite to eat like yummy sandwiches, delicious cheesy potato soup or a brownie drizzled with more chocolate. (I dont have any on my face, do I?)

This evening was great because we not only got to chat over a cup of something warm, but we also got gifts! We all brought a wrapped ornament, whether store bought or home made, and we numbered them and drew numbers. So we either got to keep the one we drew, or the next person in line could steal ours if they didnt open theirs. I think we are all to excited to see what was in the festive wrappings that we forgot about stealing ones that were already opened. I am glad I kept mine. Its staying out all year. Its a cinnamon one. It was meant for me. :) It has my name all over it… get it… cinnamon.. Synamon. Haha.

We enjoyed ourselves and no one got in trouble this time. Although Wendy left earlier than the rest of us because she was wounded. At least she was a trooper and came out to celebrate with us with her swollen ankle. Too bad she left before we got our group picture done. I guess we will have to Photoshop her in here:

Thanks for sharing the last Mom’s Night Out of 2008 with us ladies! It was a great year!

Many Blessings for the new year,
Synamon
