GCC’s Mobile Soup Kitchen hits the road EVERY Wednesday evening to provide a hot meal to individuals and families living in local hotels/motels.

In 2 months we have seen a growing need, and GREAT appreciation for this ministry – from the recipients as well as the hotel/motel managers.

Volunteers are needed to help serve meals each week as well as to help off-set the cost of this weekly outreach by donating food & supplies. Because of generous donations from the church & the community, we have been able to provide a hot, nutritious meal for approximately 75 cents per person!

Get your small group, family, neighborhood involved. Items that can be donated at anytime include: large cans of applesauce, vegetables, fresh fruit (apples, oranges), large bags of salad, Styrofoam take out containers (from Costco), home-made desserts, etc.
