Don’t wait! Take advantage of great prices with the special presale going on now until April 14.

Here is an awesome article I recently came across that sheds new light on some of the things homeschoolers, new and old, come across in their homeschooling journey.

Field Guide for Homeschoolers

I think many of us feel like we are the only ones who could possibly have ______ going on and no one else can relate or help us get through it. Homeschooling is only as scary as you let it be. Just remember, there are THOUSANDS of others just like you, who FEEL just like you do; alone. But all it takes is opening your eyes (and a little help from the internet) and seeing that you are surrounded by other homeschoolers who are happy to lend a hand. Homeschooling IS taking America (and the WORLD!) by storm.

Being a homeschooler lets you see things in a whole new way. Places you’ve never thought twice about, now become places for cool field trips. Behind the scenes at the grocery store, post office, radio station…even the pet store! The list goes on! The library, once thought of as only a place to grab a book to fill in your latest book report, or just a place to go on a rainy day, now becomes a place where you can meet up with friends for a puppet show, a crafting challenge and even a Lego building competition. Not to mention a great place to host a Science Fair for other like minded Pasteurs, Einsteins and Hawkings.

So start thinking outside the box (or 4 walls) and go where no one else will be during regular school hours. Chances are, you’ll bump into a whole group of new friends who are just like you.
