We had a great evening at this month’s Moms Night Out. This was one of the largest turn-outs so far! We didn’t go out to a restaurant or coffee shop this time. We did potluck instead. It was so much fun! So many homemade yummy treats to enjoy and we had a lot of fun reminiscing and looking at old photos of our families and ourselves “back in the day”.
It was a very enjoyable evening.

It was the most fun trying to get this picture of us all together using the camera timer!
Next time, come join us for the fun! You won’t be disappointed!

This past week a bunch of us Winchester Virginia homeschool moms gathered together at Castiglia’s Italian Restaurant for our FIRST Mom’s Night Out! It was such a blast getting together with some of the moms and letting our hair down and getting a little loud and giggly… WITHOUT THE KIDS! We had our own dining room in the back and we got to eat and chat without disturbing the other patrons. (Well, hopefully we didnt disturb anyone with our excited chatter!)
We stayed out for about two and a half hours. We probably would have tried to squeak out another 30 minutes if the restaurant staff hadnt started vacuuming in the main dining room.
It really was a refreshing change. Dont get me wrong, we LOVE our kids and homeschooling just strengthens the bond, but as they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder!
Here is a picture of the moms who were able to leave the kids at home.
